The Power of Abiding

One of the most significant understandings in spiritual growth, personal transformation, and answers to prayer is revealed in John 15:1-8 as Jesus underscores the primacy of abiding in his famous parable regarding the vine and the branches. 

Here he is revealing a profound truth.  He provides an in-depth insight into how he received from the life flows of the Father, and had access to the Kingdom of God.  He shares the foundational understanding of how spiritual communion engages.  
 
The human nature is profoundly impacted with various dimensions of separation. Separation from God, separation from people, separation from within.  Through Jesus, true abiding became possible - union between God and his people, where our spirit is made alive in Christ, and we literally become new creations in Christ.  The purposes of the Father have a legal right of access in our lives through the death of Jesus on our behalf.  And the process by which we live and grow in this divine realm of the Father is in abiding.
