Seeing Beyond the Obvious

One of the central assignments of prophetic ministry is that of speaking to the redemptive purposes in people’s lives. This requires seeing beyond the obvious, past the person’s outward behaviours, pains or brokenness they may be living in. The love of the Father allows us to see others the way He sees them: without judgement, mercifully and redemptively.

To know who you are in the Father is absolutely vital in the world where the fallen nature together with cultural and other external factors work to fashion a broken identity in people. Identity is what precedes destiny. Only with your identity being strongly rooted in the love of our Father, through a continual and unbroken communion, can you war effectively against the enemy. Relationships are central in life, being therefore a frequent target of demonic attacks and schemes. Your relationship with the Father is to be protected at all times.
